2017 - 2018 Annual Update of Information/Registration for Existing Families

K-12 Registration is Now Open

Registration will only be online for 2017-18. Please complete online registration ASAP. The only on-site registration in August will be for new students enrolling in the district.

ONLINE ANNUAL UPDATE of INFORMATION/REGISTRATION GUIDE FOR EXISTING FAMILIES - includes what information you need to have on hand, tips, directions and FAQs for Online Registration.

Existing Families Are:
  1. You have students already attending Oskaloosa Community Schools OR
  2. You have a student going into Kindergarten that attended either Preschool at Webster or SONshine OR
  3. You have a student going into Kindergarten that did not attend Webster or SONshine Preschool, but have or had older siblings who attended Oskaloosa Community Schools. In this case you will add your new kindergarten student on the student screen.

Parent Portal and Browser Requirements

  1. You must have a Parent Portal account to register your student(s).  If you do not have an account or have forgotten your login information, please complete the following form. 
    Use this form to request assistance in account setup, username and password reset.
  2. Online registration will work best on a computer/chromebook using Firefox or Google Chrome. 
    • Phones and tablets are not recommended.
    • Once you begin the registration process, utilizing the forward or backward buttons on your browser should be avoided.
    • Registration may only be completed by the parent/guardian of the PRIMARY HOUSEHOLD for the child
  3. Login to  your Parent Portal account.  The Online Registration link appears in the parent portal near the bottom of the menu on the left side of the screen below Notification Settings.  Parent Portal Login


The online bus form is available to complete in your registration process. You need to only complete the form on one student and can put all of your students in one form.

Free & Reduced Applications/Student Fee Waiver

Eligibility requirements are updated each year; and applications must be submitted at the begining of each school year regardless of past eligibility rulings. If you're interested in applying for free/reduced meals, please feel free to pick up an application at the Central Office - 1800 North 3rd Street,  or click the link below, print and complete the application.  Return completed application to Central Office up until August 1.  After August 1 return to your child's building.

 Fee Payment

Fee payment and registration are two separate actions. You will need to complete both. For your convenience you may pay fees online through RevTrak  - Online Payments.
Lunch money may be added anytime, but registration fees may only be paid after July 5th.

All outstanding fees must be paid before school starts.
