District Advisory Committee (DAC)

Word Cloud graphic of words relating to student learningThe District Advisory Committee (DAC) serves as the School Improvement Advisory Committee required by the state to revise and carry out the Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP).

DAC is comprised of teachers, administrators, parents, community members and high school students.  The overall purpose of the DAC is to provide input to the Board of Education on the following:

  •  District Mission, Vision, Beliefs, and Philosophy
  •  Long-Range CSIP Goals
  • Student Progress on Goals
  • Annual Improvement Goals for Reading Comprehension, Math and Science
  • Major Educational Needs of the District
  • Conduct an on-going Needs Assessment
